PtoleKnee Surgical Guide
Currently, many joint replacement patients are unhappy post-surgery, often due to alignment issues and unnatural feel in their new knee. At Lento Medical Innovation the joint replacement solutions are strictly science-driven and developed to help significantly improve outcomes through a more precisely tuned, sophisticated approach to approved clinical procedures in order to discover the native joint and guide to restore it.
What is PtoleKnee?
The PtoleKnee Surgical Guide™, is custom made surgical template to assist knee replacement surgery. Lento Medical designs, manufactures, and ships the PtoleKnee Surgical Guide within hours, ensuring reduced waiting times.
What it does and how it works?
The guide is designed based on a pre-operative plan that gained surgeons consent in order to restore the native knee and is compatible with all implant types, helping to eliminate the guesswork and uncertainty of joint alignment in total knee replacement surgery. Through proprietary technology and methodology, Lento Medical Innovation targets “neutral boundary” mechanical alignment for structural stability and soft tissue balancing.
Indications for use
The PtoleKnee Surgical Guide is CE marked as a medical device and its intended uses are governed by the orthopedic surgeon for a precise knee replacement (TKR) procedure. It can work with most major knee implants in the market.
A simple MRI of the patient is obatined as per LentoMeidcal's protocol. This typically takes 20 minutes. The images are then uploaded to Lento's portal and a surgical plan is then to the surgeon the next day. Once the surgeon approves the plan, the guide is shipped next business day to the clinic or hospital. For MRI Protocol> click here
